Course Overview
This course is aimed at frontline staff who have to deal with aggressive behaviour. It will give delegates the opportunity to identify what is acceptable and unacceptable behaviour and how the influence of alcohol and drugs can affect people. Delegates will examine the phases of aggressive behaviour and be helped to develop an approach to remain in control. Delegates will learn how to prevent certain incidents by identifying triggers. Delegates will also learn the tactics for dealing with situations when they arise, as well as dealing with the aftermath.
