The CISSP course is not delivered as a boot camp or exam prep course. Our course is a ‘theory based’ guide through the eight ISC2 domains to support your learning of the ISC2 Book of Knowledge. This course should be taken many months in advance of your CISSP exam booking. It will not substitute the considerable amount of self-study that all CISSP delegates need to undertake. This course attracts mixed ability delegates and is always tailored to meet the needs of all participants.

Aimed at security professionals, this course surveys the entire information security landscape and the technologies involved. The course addresses the eight knowledge domains that comprise the common body of knowledge (CBK) for information systems security professionals and will help delegates prepare for CISSP certification.

Overview: The Implementing and Administering Cisco Solutions (CCNA) v1.0 course gives you a broad range of fundamental knowledge for all IT careers. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on labs, you will learn how to install, operate, configure, and verify basic IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The course covers configuring network components such as switches, routers, and wireless LAN controllers; managing network devices; and identifying basic security threats. The course also gives you a foundation in network programmability, automation and software-defined networking.

This course helps you prepare to take the 200-301 Cisco® Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) exam. By passing this one exam, you earn CCNA certification.

Overview: Java is everywhere and is as popular as ever. This hands-on course, delivered using Java 11, endeavours to provide the fundamental skills you need to become a Java Developer. We'll have you build a series of realistic apps focusing on object-oriented principles from the start.

Note that this is not a beginners course. You are expected to be familiar with programming concepts and have a little coding experience. If not you should consider our Learn to Code with Java course instead.

Overview: The Java Programming 2 course is closely aligned with the Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer II exam.

This course focuses on the core language features and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) you will use to design effective object-oriented and functional programming applications with the Java Standard Edition 8 Platform.

This course will teach you how to design and develop robust Java code that is easy to test and maintain and can be integrated into multiple applications.

The most important new topics introduced in Java SE 8 are covered, such as Functional Programming and Stream API, that allow you to use the most up to date techniques in your code.

Overview: As desktops has evolved, so have methods for deploying and updating them. In this course, you'll learn how to plan and implement an operating system deployment strategy. This course will help you understand the various methods available, the scenarios they're suited for, as well as how to deploy Windows using modern methods. This course will also cover planning and implementing an update strategy for Windows.

During this course, you’ll be introduced to key components of modern management and co-management strategies. You’ll examine what it takes to incorporate Microsoft Intune into your organization and how to use it to manage modern desktops and devices. You’ll also learn about methods for deployment and management of apps and browser-based applications.

In this course, the student will be introduced to the key concepts of security in modern management. This course covers authentication, identities, and access, as well as about how to protect these categories. The student will be introduced to Azure Active Directory and learn how to use Microsoft Intune to protect devices and data with compliance policies. Finally, this course will cover key capabilities of Azure Information Protection and Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection and how to implement these capabilities.

Overview: The Oracle PL/SQL course is designed to introduce Oracle DBAs, software development personnel and database support staff to the primary features and constructs of the PL/SQL Programming Language.

Overview: The Oracle PL/SQL Stored Program Units course provides practical experience in developing and writing triggers, functions, procedures and packages. It also introduces some of the Oracle-supplied packages.

Overview: The Oracle SQL course is designed to give delegates practical experience in writing SQL statements and scripts using Oracle SQL. The basic SELECT statement, the use of SQL functions and the basic table and view handling statements are introduced.

Overview: The Oracle SQL Advanced course is designed to give delegates practical experience in using some of the more advanced features of Oracle SQL. Additional datatypes and the use of advanced SQL functions and expressions are covered together with enhanced table handling features.

Overview: The Oracle SQL Fundamentals course is designed to give delegates practical experience in writing Oracle SQL statements and scripts. A wide range of SQL functions and data manipulation statements are introduced.

Overview: The PHP Programming & MySQL for Web Development course is designed to give delegates the knowledge to develop/maintain PHP scripts utilizing the MYSQL database system and HTML.

Overview: Python is an object oriented rapid development language deployed in many scenarios in the modern world.

This Python Programming 1 course is designed to give delegates the knowledge to develop and maintain Python scripts using the current version (V3) of Python.

There are many similarities between Python V2 and Python V3. The skills gained on this course will allow the delegate to develop their own skills further using Python V2 or V3 to support the development and maintenance of scripts.

The Python Programming 1 course comprises sessions dealing with syntax, variables and data types, operators and expressions, conditions and loops, functions, objects, collections, modules and packages, strings, pattern matching, dates, exception handling, files, and databases.

Overview: This course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills to create queries using Transact-SQL. It will teach you how to select, filter and sort data from multiple tables and how to use views and stored procedures.

Overview: This 5 day course is intended for students new to querying and programming with Microsoft SQL Server products who need a total immersion in the subject on a SQL Server 2016 or 2017 platform. This is a very comprehensive and intensive course with plenty of illustrated examples and augmented with practical hands-on exercises to enhance the learning experience.

Additionally, with the course structure being fully modularised, customised versions of this course can also be devised and delivered to suit individual requirements. In fact, specific content from this course could also be combined with material from other related courses to produce a bespoke training package – just ask for details.

Overview: This 3 day course is intended for students who need to learn the essential skills necessary to maintain a Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or 2017 system infrastructure. Being concise and hands-on, it is aimed at quickly getting students familiar with the Microsoft SQL Server administration concepts, tools and utilities. The installation of SQL Server, covered in the first module of the course, is optional and can be omitted to free up time for other topics if desired.

The course focuses on managing a single on-premise SQL Server Database instance and does not delve into more advanced enterprise features such as high availability and replication. Neither do we consider cloud-based solutions in this course. That said, for delegates looking to get a strong grounding in SQL Server architecture and administration, perhaps before advancing on to more advanced features, this is an ideal course upon which to build.

Attendees will gain insight into the infrastructure and architecture of SQL Server, enabling individuals to fully understand the product with which they are dealing. Configuration of server instances and databases is given full treatment, as are database transaction logs, and the creation and maintenance of indexes. Concise treatment is given to managing SQL Server security, including both at the server and database level. The focus then shifts to examining how best to move and protect data, such as when importing or exporting it between heterogeneous data sources, backing it up to external media, and restoring data from a backup. Many tasks involved in the day to day administration of a SQL Server instance can be performed automatically, making an administrators life potentially simpler, and such is the subject matter in the module dealing with SQL Server Automation. The final part of the course looks at monitoring and troubleshooting SQL Server performance and related issues.

Overview: This five-day course features intensive hands-on training that focuses on installing, configuring, and managing VMware vSphere 8, which includes VMware ESXi™ 8 and VMware vCenter® 8. This course prepares you to administer a vSphere infrastructure for an organization of any size.

This course is the foundation for most VMware technologies in the software-defined data center.

Overview: The Web Development 1 with HTML, CSS and JavaScript course comprises sessions dealing with HTML, CSS and JavaScript - the three core languages of web development. HTML tags give a web page its structure, Cascading Style Sheets provide the style, and JavaScript code is used to make the page dynamic and interactive. All three are essential for a modern, responsive web site.

The delegate will learn how to construct and style a simple web site, and add dynamic and interactive behaviour to their web pages.

Overview: This five-day instructor-led course teaches IT Pros how to deploy and configure Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in a distributed environment, how to implement Group Policy, how to perform backup and restore, and how to monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory–related issues with Windows Server 2022. Additionally, this course teaches how to deploy other Active Directory server roles such as Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) and Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).

It is designed for professionals who will be responsible for managing storage and compute by using Windows Server 2022, and who need to understand the scenarios, requirements, and storage and compute options that are available and applicable to Windows Server 2022. This course is also applicable to learners using Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2019.

Overview: This five-day course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to configure the networking features in Windows Server 2022, to automate and consolidate networking processes and resources, easily connect private clouds with public cloud services, and connect users to IT resources and services across physical boundaries. You will learn how to configure some of the key networking features, such as IP addressing, IP Address Management (IPAM), Domain Name System (DNS), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Remote Access technologies, such as Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
