Word Essentials
Course Overview
This course is for delegates who want to learn to be more productive with Microsoft Word. Delegates will learn how to use the essential day to day functions of Word including how to create and edit documents and use character and paragraph formatting. Delegates will also be shown ways to ensure word documents are consistent and engaging using headers and footers, SmartArt and many other design features.Course Objectives

- Create and save new document that contains text that has been aligned and formatted to suit the content.
- Change the page layout of a document so it is displayed in landscape, use the Spelling & Grammar check facility and the thesaurus to search for alternative words & meanings.
- Add diagrams, charts and tables to a document to create engaging and interesting reports.
- Use the Quick Parts Gallery to create, store, and find reusable pieces of content.
Prerequisites

- Delegates should have some working knowledge of windows or they should have completed the Introduction to Windows course. Delegates should feel at ease performing tasks such as arranging, sizing, switching between windows, and starting programs. Previous use of a mouse and keyboard is assumed on this course.
