How to use borders in Microsoft PublisherHow to place a border around an Object

1. Right click the object
2. Click Format Picture from the menu that appears
3. Click Colours and Lines
4. Choose the type of border or to choose fancy borders, click Border Art
5. To apply the Border Art you selected to the object use the border options to select which sides of the object the Border Art is applied to.





How to place a Shadow on an object

1. Single click the object
2. Click the shadows in Publisher on the formatting tool bar
3. Select the shadow style you want from the drop down menu
4. To remove a shadow on an object
5. Single click the object

6. Click the Formatting tool bar
7. Click No Shadow


To change the shading of an objects background (not the whole pages background)

1. Single click the object
2. Click the shadows in Publisher icon on the Formatting tool bar (Menu bar)
3. Choose the type of colour.


To add a gradient colour

1. Single click the object
2. Click the black arrow shadows in Publisher icon on the Formatting tool bar (Menu bar)
3. Click Fill Effects?
4. Perform the following steps
