This courseware is designed for the new AutoCAD® Civil 3D user who requires comprehensive training in AutoCAD Civil 3D. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and managing 3D Civil Models with hands-on exercises throughout the course.

Course Prerequisites

    • Previous AutoCAD experience is necessary. It is recommended that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft supported systems.

Course Objectives

    • The primary objective of this courseware is to teach the student the fundamentals necessary for professional 3D modelling of Civil and Infrastructure objects. Upon completion of the course, the student will:
      • Become familiar with the AutoCAD Civil 3D user interface and set up.
      • Create and manage ground models and features such as standing area’s and ponds.
      • Create corridor models, including horizontal design, long sections, vertical design and assemblies.
      • Design and manage Pipe networks.
      • Create sample lines and cross sections.
      • Interrogate and extract data from the model
