Autodesk Civil 3D Essentials Course Overview

Course Prerequisites

• • Previous AutoCAD experience is necessary. It is recommended that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft supported systems.
    

Course Objectives

• • The primary objective of this courseware is to teach the student the fundamentals necessary for professional 3D modelling of Civil and Infrastructure objects. Upon completion of the course, the student will:
    • Become familiar with the AutoCAD Civil 3D user interface and set up.
    • Create and manage ground models and features such as standing area’s and ponds.
    • Create corridor models, including horizontal design, long sections, vertical design and assemblies.
    • Design and manage Pipe networks.
    • Create sample lines and cross sections.
    • Interrogate and extract data from the model
