Who is it for??

This training course has been designed to provide essential knowledge and understanding of health and safety for employees working in any sector of business, whether manufacturing, public sector or service industry.

Course Overview

This course is certificated by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and introduces the principles of health & safety. Training employees at this level can help to demonstrate compliance with The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 regarding requirements for training. The course comprises of a mixture of tutor-led discussions, individual exercises and group work and is assessed by a short multi choice test paper.

Objectives Title

Delegates will be able to:

Work in a safe and healthy manner and contribute to improving health and safety within an organisation's policy. Be responsible for their own actions.
Identify key hazards in their own workplace.
Understand the importance of health and safety rules and working procedures.
