Course Overview

This course is for delegates who would like to learn how to use the Jasc Paint Shop Pro graphics program. This course will enable delegates to get started, use the basic tools, apply those tools in the workplace and prepare images for the web.

Prerequisites

Students enrolling in this course should understand basic computer hardware and software concepts.
This course was developed for the student who has little or no experience using Jasc Paint Shop Pro, and who needs to learn the basic skills that are necessary in order to begin using this program efficiently.
It is assumed the delegate has Windows and mouse experience.

Objectives

Delegates will be able to:

Navigate in the Jasc Paint Shop Pro environment.
Use Paint Shop Pro's tools for selecting, editing, cropping, and cloning graphic images.
Create shapes, apply paintbrush and airbrush effects, and create picture tubes.
Define colour preferences, adjust colours and depth, and use channels effectively.
Create and manipulate layers and masks to manage complex images efficiently.
Enhance images by retouching photos, applying filters, deformations, and custom text, and creating custom buttons and text.
Use Paint Shop Pro's features to prepare graphics for Web applications.
